Ingredients
In alignment with our commitment to transparency and holding ourselves to a higher standard, I want to share communication from the company we source a lot of our ingredients from. Most companies like ours are not really willing to disclose where their ingredients come from because... They don't know! They haven't looked into it! But I don't want to just get herbs from the first place available without doing the research into how they're being grown and by who. When we say our ingredients are amazing, I want you to see why we say that, because we did something unthinkably extraordinary... We asked! So check this out...
We have made excellent partnerships with suppliers that meet our level of purity and potency. Most of our suppliers grow our material outdoors in controlled areas. The closest we can get to wild, without destroying eco systems keeping our foot print low. Our suppliers practice sustainability, more and more each year.
Our herbs are harvested during the appropriate times of year, month, day, and season for maximum benefits.
We have our herbs third party tested every so often as an overall standard, to maintain a growing timeline of clean pure herbs to our customers.
We "also" make sure that our material is grown on the correct substrate! Using wood and or sawdust to insure the medicinal benefits of the mushrooms we offer, and NOT on grains like other company's do. An example, our Chaga is allowed to grow on birch, and our reishi is grown on Duanwood, lions mane and others have been grown on wood combination substrate.
We only use the fruiting body in our products, no mycelium is used.
The areas the herbs are grown are also very rural with no machines or gas powered vehicles. A nice quality that emphasizes their integrity, and what we are about. We also work with sustainability advisors, making sure we do our part each year to help reverse our carbon foot print to ordering our raw materials, running our warehouse, offices and shipping fulfilment, to shipping to our customers.
Our herbs are grown in rural areas in the northern Manchurian province of China, Siberia, Peru, Ecuador, and the Korean countryside. We only buy from suppliers that have healthy relationships with contracted small family farms and wild harvesting operations. Our suppliers are all GMP certified. It has been important to us to keep small family growers in our business as larger companies have been devastating to their profitability.
Our mission has been to educate and provide pure, potent, and unique products that honor the regions the herbs come from and their people as a whole.
The supplier we work with complies with GMP manufacturing practices, and harvests the herbs at their peak potency in relation to time of year and phase of the moon. None of our herbs have been exposed to chemicals in the seeding process or through out their growth. They are also rinsed with filtered water."

Mesquite:
In terms of macronutrients, most of mesquite powder is made up of sugars, particularly sucrose and fructose, which is not surprising given the sweet taste of mesquite powder. To balance things out, mesquite powder is also loaded with fiber and it contains a good amount of protein too. The high fiber content and the relatively high protein content of mesquite powder help balance and create a time release of the sugar content of this sweet powder.
As far as micronutrients go, mesquite powder is an excellent source of potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc.
Plus! This mesquite is a wild food, which is something missing from most people's diets today. Once upon a time, humans consumed primarily wild food, which contains different kinds of information and has different effects than the domesticated, hybridized foods that are almost exclusively eaten these days.

Chlorella:
As with all of the ingredients in our products, I could go on and on about the benefits and nutritional information, so I'll try to keep it simple. Chlorella contains possibly higher amounts of chlorophyll than any other food. Chlorophyll has an amazing effect in the human body by cleaning and building the blood and assisting in heart health. A wide array of essential vitamins and minerals that assist in optimal body operation. It is immune boosting and powerfully anti-aging. Speaking of which there is an element to chlorella called the chlorella growth factor or CGF. Similar in nature to the human growth factor which humans stop producing around age 25. This assists in rebuilding, rejuvenating and has powerful immediate and long-term effects.
Raw cacao powder:
It's time to rethink what we think we know about chocolate!
Raw cacao powder is one of the most chemically complex foods on Earth. Containing a vast array of minerals and vitamins. One of the biggest reasons why I include it in the recipe is because of its ability to assist muscles not just for athletes but for everybody. The high magnesium content of raw cacao powder helps to keep the muscles smooth and relaxed. It also contains super high levels of iron. It has been shown to be more effective in curing anemia than a diet of red meat or iron supplements. It's also one of the most powerful foods on the planet for increasing dopamine and serotonin levels. These two things have possible benefits such as increasing brain health and could be potentially helpful in combating Alzheimer's disease and other brain function related problems. They also assist in feelings of well-being, relaxation and anti-stress which can help everybody whether or not you're competing athletically or living a day-to-day life. The last part I will mention here is the theobromine. Contrary to popular belief, cacao contains no caffeine. Theobromine is however a stimulant which is one of the many reasons why our products with cacao may increase stamina.
Wildcrafted Chinese herbal blend:
This is a formula that was specifically designed for athletes. However, it's anti-fatigue, anti-stress and stamina increasing capabilities are good for everybody and have shown to be effective for basically any situation you find yourself in. Several of them have very powerful altitude acclamation effects and they all work together to help increase oxygen uptake, increase red blood cell count, assist in lean muscle mass building and help to strengthen and repair connective tissue. This formula assists in recovering from workouts, exercise and injury much faster than without them.
They are also some of the most powerful supertonic herbs on the planet and are very powerfully anti-aging. Some of them have shown in clinical scientific studies to be very effective in battling things like different forms of cancer, leukemia, auto immune disorders, immunosuppressed disorders, emotional, mental and behavioral disorders and more. Some of them are supremely high and antioxidants, reducing inflammation by a great amount which can also be beneficial for inflammation related diseases.
Most of them are in the class of adaptogenic herbs. This means that they help the consumer to adapt to a wide variety of stresses, be they physical, emotional or mental stresses ranging from the gym, the events you may be competing in, the classroom, family gatherings etc. They also have an immunomodulating effect, which means it balances the immune system whether it is over or underperforming. Adaptogenic also means that they can be taken in large amounts for long periods of time with no adverse side effects or toxicity.
Many of these herbs have been found to be antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal as well. Making these herbs some of our most powerful allies on our journey to what is referred to in Chinese medicine as health beyond danger or, radiant health.
As far as sourcing them from China. Some people, like us, would question the cleanliness of the herbs as they come from a place that has a reputation for watering down certifications and standards and producing things in cheap, unsanitary conditions.
So I reached out to my supplier and here is a direct quote from an email they sent me:

*By the way! I am not a doctor and am making no health claims! Please consult your doctor or physician before taking any of these herbs for specific medical conditions!
Salt:
We use Redmond real salt, from Utah. It is an ancient sea bed deep in the ground that has not been exposed to modern pollution. They employ things like solar power and other sustainable methods of extracting the salt from these mines, using no slave labor and paying fair, living wages to the miners. And this salt contains all the essential minerals the human body needs to thrive. The salts present in our products not only help to improve the taste but assist in getting crucial electrolytes to the body.
Konjac root powder:
We use this as a binding agent instead of things like xanthan root or guar gum. It is a whole food product, extracted from a Japanese variety of potato. Not only does it help keep our product from not being sticky but it is also been shown that it is a prebiotic and may assist in alleviating some of the symptoms of diabetes by helping to regulate blood sugar. It is a non-soluble fiber that can also assist in weight loss by adding to a sense of satiaty
