Ingredients

Original Formula

Mesquite:

In terms of macronutrients, most mesquite powder is made up of sugars, particularly sucrose, and fructose, which is not surprising given the sweet taste of mesquite powder. To balance things out, mesquite powder is also loaded with fiber and it contains a good amount of protein too. The high fiber content and the relatively high protein content of mesquite powder help balance and create a time release of the sugar content of this sweet powder.

As far as micronutrients go, mesquite powder is an excellent source of potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc.

Plus! This mesquite is a wild food, which is something missing from most people's diets today. Once upon a time, humans consumed primarily wild food, which contains different kinds of information and has different effects than the domesticated, hybridized foods that are almost exclusively eaten these days.

Chlorella:

As with all of the ingredients in the Super Fuel, I could go on and on about the benefits and nutritional information, so I'll try to keep it simple. Chlorella contains possibly higher amounts of chlorophyll than any other food. Chlorophyll has an amazing effect on the human body by cleaning and building the blood and assisting in heart health. A wide array of essential vitamins and minerals that assist in optimal body operation. It is immune-boosting and powerfully anti-aging. Speaking of which there is an element of chlorella called the chlorella growth factor or CGF. Similar in nature to the human growth factor which humans stop producing around age 25. This assists in rebuilding, and rejuvenating and has powerful immediate and long-term effects.

Raw cacao powder:

It's time to rethink what we think we know about chocolate!

Raw cacao powder is one of the most chemically complex foods on Earth. Containing a vast array of minerals and vitamins. One of the biggest reasons why I include it in the recipe is because of its ability to assist muscles not just for athletes but for everybody. The high magnesium content of raw cacao powder helps to keep the muscles smooth and relaxed. It also contains super high levels of iron. It is more effective in curing anemia than a diet of red meat or iron supplements. It's also one of the most powerful foods on the planet for increasing dopamine and serotonin levels. These two things have possible benefits such as increasing brain health and could be potentially helpful in combating Alzheimer's disease and other brain function-related problems. They also assist in feelings of well-being, relaxation, and anti-stress which can help everybody whether or not you're competing athletically or living a day-to-day life.

Wild Chaga:

Chaga mushroom is known as 'the diamond of the forest' and grows in the northern hemisphere of the world, as a semi-arctic mushroom. Our Chaga is collected from birch trees to make sure that the anticancer compound betulinic acid is present in our product.

Chaga is an immune modulator, a type of herb that has been shown to help correct autoimmune symptoms. Other benefits of Chaga include, adrenal support, immunity support from colds and flu, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, one of the highest sources of antioxidants in the natural world, a longevity tonic, beauty tonic, adaptogenic, and helps protect skin from UV rays.

It is also packed with plant-based sterols which can mimic certain steroids, which can assist in lean muscle mass growth and repairing the body from damage.

Reishi:

Our Reishi is grown on Duanwood in a wild setting. Growing Reishi on duanwood is important, because it increases Reishi's potency, making Duanwood Reishi the most revered type of Reishi. Reishi is an incredible nootropic. Reishi has been used for thousands of years to balance both sides of the nervous system, balance adrenal function which is important for maintaining healthy cortisol levels, and balance the immune system. Many people love Reishi for its ability to calm the mind and promote inner peace, longevity, and harmonize the body and spirit. Reishi helps protect the body from candida, cancer, and tumor growth, and it is an immune modulator, supports cardioheath heath, and liver detoxification, and is an anti-inflammatory.

Astragalus:

Perhaps the number one lung tonic commonly used within Traditional Chinese Medicine. Known for strengthening and tonifying Qi (our energetic system) and the general immune system.

Rhodiola:

Native to Siberia, Rhodiola has been popularly used since ancient times to enhance mental and physical endurance. In the present day, this potent root is one of the most popular adaptogens for helping to re-establish balanced hormonal function and supporting brain function.

Cordyceps:

Cordyceps has been widely used as an energizing "heal-all" in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries. Of the many benefits, it is mainly used for fatigue, exhaustion, protection of the liver, improving kidney function, alleviating respiratory illnesses, and enhancing libido. It is also recommended for those with excessive stress, debility, weakness, and those lacking strength (mentally and physically). Cordyceps can help improve energy, endurance, stamina, appetite, and disrupted sleep patterns.

Magnolia Bud:

There are many uses for this herb but it's being used in this formula for its respiratory assisting benefits.

Gynostemma:

Gynostemma is undoubtedly one of the World's top adaptogenic herbs. The Hunza peoples of upper Afganistan attribute daily tea of this herb to their famed longevity and heart health. Gynostemma tea can be taken any time of day. Due to its adaptogenic properties, drinking Gynostemma can help increase energy during the early hours and promote calming in the night. This miraculous herb is thought to have actions equivalent to Ginseng and is excellent as a daily tea in cholesterol and blood-sugar-regulating programs.

Ophiopogon:

Although there are many uses for this root of a perennial shrub, it is used in this formula for its heart-relaxing properties which can assist in combating stress, and anxiety and potentially increasing the heart's endurance during increased activity.

Eleuthero:

This herb has been shown to possibly be powerfully anti-fatigue and may increase mental acuity and alertness.

Shilajit:

Shilajit is a word that can be translated to mean, the destroyer of weakness. It can be described as a mineral pitch made up of ancient biodegradable plant material that is gathered from high and remote places in the Himalayas. It contains an abundance of minerals and humic and fulvic acid. It is a potentiator, meaning that it assists in the uptake and performance of other herbs it is combined with. It is also considered to be strongly anti-fatigue but not in a stimulating way.

Bamboo leaf:

Bamboo Leaf has shown to be anti-inflammatory which is good for all walks of life. It is also rich in silica which is why it is being used here, to assist in support and repair of connective tissue and joints.

Lohan Quo:

Used in this formula for its anti-inflammatory properties and mild but zero glycemic sweetness

Redmond Real Salt:

A very small amount of this ancient sea salt gathered in Utah is used to provide a small mineral boost which helps the overall function of the body but also makes the flavor pop just a little bit.
